NEW DELHI: On Tuesday, September 17, the Supreme Court will review a series of petitions contesting the demolition of properties owned by individuals accused of crimes.
The petitions, submitted by Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind and others, request the court to instruct several state governments, including Uttar Pradesh, to cease demolitions unless proper legal procedures are followed.
