An encounter between security forces and terrorists erupted on Saturday evening in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, according to police reports. Authorities confirmed that contact with the terrorists has been established, and an operation is actively in progress.
"Following specific intelligence, a search operation was initiated in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar. Contact has been established, and the operation is ongoing," stated the J-K Police.
