Former Indian captain Kapil Dev has appealed to the BCCI to provide financial aid to his ex-teammate and member of the 1984 World Cup-winning squad, Anshuman Gaekwad, who is currently battling blood cancer in London. Kapil highlighted that during his era, the Indian cricket board had limited resources, but now, with the BCCI's substantial recent successes, he believes it should find ways to support former players in need.
